Production process of woven industrial fabrics

Release time:2024-11-11

The production process of industrial fabrics mainly includes steps such as raw material preparation, spinning, weaving, finishing, inspection, and packaging. ‌

1. Raw material preparation: The raw materials for industrial fabrics can be natural fibers such as cotton, hemp, wool, silk, etc., or chemical fibers. These raw materials need to undergo quality inspection and screening to ensure that the quality meets production requirements. For certain specific industrial fabrics, such as industrial curtain fabrics, their main raw materials include polyester chips and nylon chips, and the quality and performance of these raw materials directly affect the quality and performance of the final product. The main component of polyester chips is ethylene terephthalate (PET), while the main component of nylon chips is polyamide 6 (PA6) or polyamide 66 (PA66). In order to improve the performance of the curtain fabric, some additives such as antioxidants, UV absorbers, lubricants, etc. will also be added. ‌

2. Spinning: After the raw materials are prepared, they enter the spinning stage. Spinning is the process of processing fibers into yarn, which includes heating polyester and nylon slices to a molten state, extruding them into fine filaments through spinning holes, and processing them through cooling, stretching, shaping, and other processes to form long filaments with certain strength and elasticity. In this process, it is necessary to control parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed to ensure the quality and performance of the filament. At the same time, quality testing will be conducted on the filament, such as testing of fracture strength, elongation at break, linear density, etc. ‌

3. Weaving: After spinning, the yarn is sent to a weaving machine for weaving, forming a fabric. This process requires crossing the yarns into fabric according to the designed pattern and specifications. During the weaving process, it is necessary to continuously monitor and adjust the operating status of the weaving machine to ensure that the quality and specifications of the fabric meet the requirements. ‌

4. Post finishing: After the weaving is completed, a post finishing process is carried out, including finishing, shaping, and ironing, to give the fabric a good hand feel and appearance. At the same time, it is necessary to inspect the fabric to ensure that it meets relevant standards and regulations. ‌

5. Inspection and packaging: Finally, the completed product is inspected and packaged to ensure that the product quality meets the standards before it can be sold. ‌

Every step in the entire production process is crucial, and any negligence in any step may affect the quality and performance of the final product. Therefore, every step from raw material preparation to finished product packaging requires strict quality control and meticulous operation
